Because you’re worth it.

Acceptance
Accepting yourself for who you are and what you offer. How could you ever love yourself if you are constantly trying to mold yourself into what society, your parents, your family, your spouse, a religion or anything else is telling you to be or how to act?
Do you know how freeing it is to accept that maybe yes, you can be moody. Yes, you have a big booty. Yes, you work too hard and crash. Yes, you like to be lazy and let the dishes pile up. Yes, you are obsessed with keeping a clean house. Yes, yes, yes!!
THAT’S OKAY.
There is no one way road to being your highest self or loving yourself indefinitely. Although, your road can start now.

Put Yourself First
This sounds so cliché yet it is one of the most powerful things. Putting what YOU need in front of others.
Okay, moms sit down. I know you probably mouth puffed reading that thinking, “Yeah right, I have tiny humans to take care of. I couldn’t get time to myself even if I was by myself.
That’s where you’re wrong.
Standing up for yourself and DEVOTING an action a day for the sake of YOU, can be life changing.
You might even become more lovable, less stressed and easy going if you were to simply devote FIVE minutes to yourself.
Simple things such as, taking a bath, cleaning the house (if that’s your jam and makes you feel better), eating a nice meal, clipping your toe nails, organizing your candle collection.
Even if you don’t “have” time to do these things, you should MAKE TIME.
What you do for yourself doesn’t even need to be a PHYSICAL action, it can be verbal.
For me, I put myself first by speaking my truth and releasing how I feel. If a situation feels strange or gives me anxiety, I open up to what I am feeling and why I could be feeing this way.
By respecting what I need to remain calm, centered and at peace, I am putting myself first.
You are the one responsible for how you feel on the day to day.

Practice Self Care
Another cliché, ay? Simply because it’s TRUE.
As mentioned above, everyone’s self care is different. You could be a cleaner, a fit chick, an organizer, a worker or a relax gal.
Setting time to the side by doing small tasks that make you feel whole is simply one of the best practices in treating yourself right.
By taking care of your mind, body and soul, you should never feel depleted or lacking.
Are you going to fall and forget these things from time to time? ABSOLUTELY.
Self love and self care is not linear.
It is an educational journey. Your self care needs will change throughout the years.
Whether that be from moving, switching jobs, having children, starting a business, going to college or what have you!
How can you fill up anyone else with an empty cup?
Could you really be present in your relationship, career, parenting or even friendship if you’ve neglected what you need to do for yourself?
The answer is no. You may physically be there but you will spin in a downward spiral focusing on everyone else’s wants and needs, loosing sight of yourself.
I’m here for you babe! Here is to a journey of everlasting self love and discovering our worth!
